A "transitional beer" that may just lure the American light lager fans into the world of craft beer. Our cream ale is light gold in color and low in bitterness; the specialty malt and flaked maize add complexity to this smooth thirst quencher. This is a “lawnmower beer” that will leave you wanting more – no worries, just yell “I need more CowBell!”

Original review:
Pours a dark golden colour; smell is a sweet, malty aroma. Initial taste brings some peach, a hint of carbonation and a "sweet tea" taste. Finish is slightly dry and delicious.
Poured from a 16 oz can.
Update: had another can, can taste some cocoa/chocolate notes in it. Weird.

Scrappy notes from 2016. 4 pack of 16 ounce cans. Also on tap at various pubs and restaurants.
5.2%ABV 20IBU Excellent! Not bitter, gently sweet, thin lacey head, pale golden color, softer malts, slightly bready, lemon grass. Flaked maize and specialty malts. Very smooth and easy drinking. Nice and creamy. Feels great and the taste is delicious!

Pours a clear dark yellow color with a white head. Smell was grain ,biscuit malts, and corn. Taste follows nose with the addition of lemon grassy tastes. Medium body mouth feel with a sweet creamy finish.

Decent color. Pedestrian at best. Weaker beer. Seems to have been made on a budget.

Appearance: Pours a deep golden, streetlight color with a moderate white head. SRM of 10. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong phenolic aromas of sharpie and dank grass. Lots of yeast. (3.50)
Flavor: Strong flavors of bread, vanilla, and some corn. A little cream. Still has a strong sharpie flavor. Reminds me a lot of the aerosol canned whipped cream that gives the aerosolized gasoline or sharpie flavor to the beer. Finishes with a unique malt that I sitll has that sharpie flavor to provide sweetness. Similar to the dank or resin flavor I'd find in an IPA. Leans a little sweet as expected (3.75)
Feel: Medium-bodied. Fantastic carbonation. A little yeast and pepper. (4.50)
Overall: One of my first cream ales, but I was surprised by the phenolic gasoline and sharpie dankness. Lots of sharpie. Is that supposed to be corn or cream? Not sure. Still, great body and carbonation. A pretty delicious beer. I want to try more of the style. (Final Rating: 3.78)

On-tap at Stone Arch, MSP Airport, Minneapolis, MN
A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a very slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with just a narrow collar of white bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of pale malts and hints of corn are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of corn that are a touch stronger than the palate malts. There is a slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied and a bit creamy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found this beer to be a decent representation of the style as it was a little creamy and sweet.
Serving type: on-tap

L: Pale golden hue, slightly opaque
S: Rich and crisp on the nose, the most redeeming quality of the beer
T: Boring, very simple. Slightly sweet with a malty flat finish
F: It could take more carbonation; it feels thin. Not rich and luxurious as a cream ale should be
