Pours a clear medium-amber in color. Some haze (yeast) and topped with an off-white head.
Nose is "dirty"; Yeasty and malt-focused, with some garlicky and minty hops.
On the first sip this one is sweetish and very malt-focused, just as it is on the nose. Lighter bitterness throughout, and some nice biscuit notes buried beneath the yeast and sweetness. Very full-bodied, almost reminds me of a "strong ale", with the body of a barleywine.
This one reminds me a lot of the Bronx Pale Ale I had a while back. Definitely an English style I.P.A., leaning toward a strong Bitter.
