From a 16oz can
This is a very dark brown pouring beer. When I hold it to the light, nothing shines through. The head is a thick 2 finger brown color. Fluffy and frothy looking as well as long lasting. There's some great lacing on the glass as the head dissipates.
The nose is very weak. I just get a very faint chocolate note, but really nothing else.
Taste - There's some chocolate in the flavor, and it's more of a sweet milk chocolate that comes in waves, dissipates, and returns. Some creaminess to the chocolate. There's a good deal of barrel in this beer, but it really doesn't seem to compliment the chocolate at all. They clash a bit.
The body is good for the ABV. A faint hint of a burn from the alcohol.
In theory this could work, but in my book does need some work.
