Golden-hued lager with aromas and flavors of honey malt and grassy/herbaceous hops for balance. Full-bodied yet easy-drinking, beers like this are a celebration of the end of Winter and the coming of Spring

Served in a pint glass on tap at the Stone Arch (Minneapolis / St. Paul Airport).
Look: Honey gold — the color is beautiful, but with only a very small off-white head that dissipated rather quickly and left only a little finely-bubbled lacing.
Nose: Honey, alcohol, and toasted grain.
Mouthfeel: Medium thick and smooth — very nice; perfect carbonation.
Attack: Follows the nose nicely; excellent depth of flavor, a little caramel, alcohol is present but not overwhelming.
Finish: Just enough hops to nicely balance.
Overall: My go-to Maibock is Ayinger, and this one rivals Ayinger. Very drinkable, very enjoyable. I'd order it again in a heartbeat — nice work, Urban Growler!
