Clear, light amber body; fair carbonation; outstanding head, thick, lasting, frothy, white; respectable partial rings of thick foam cling to the glass. Rock solid jalapeño nose; raw and fresh. Well-balanced flavor; definite chili pepper taste playing nicely with an easy bread crust flavored malt base; modest bitterness at most. Medium bodied; rounded smoothness; rock solid chili pepper heat.
This chili beer kicks ass. It is well-balanced flavor-wise, has impressive looks (many chili beers have little to no head due to the chili pepper oils). The pepper heat has presence yet doesn't dominate things. The smooth and warm mouthfeel is sure to please for lovers of chili pepper beers. Excellent stuff.
ABV: 5.0%; pouring temperature: 48.9 °F; canning info: 26-18 11MAR26

16 oz can canned March 11, 2026 into a Becher.
L: Pours light caramel gold with steady carbo, a 1/4" white head that recedes to edge froth, medium complex full circumference lacing with some back banding.
S: Jalapeno pepper, caramelized malts, a hint of pastry dough.
T: Gently soft sweet jalapeno peppers, affably sweet grains, a touch of pastry dough more specifically lefse, extremely light bitterness towards the finish which also produces light notes of distant citrus zest & tang for bitterness. The peppers don't trample the base beer.
F: Gently brisk then smooth & slightly creamy with a medium bodied mouthfeel and a medium length finish that has a quick departure though it is not dry. Good luster, great flowing feel.
O: A mellow Chili Beer with subtle pepper heat. It morphs a little bit with warming revealing more malts. Quite easy drinking and well designed. If you enjoy lower capsaicin heat Chili Beer then this is a winner. It is very good to excellent in its style.

From a 16oz can. Canned February 18th, 2026.
This beer has a nice slightly murky golden color to it. There's a ton of carbonation bubbles in this beer that are rising to the top. The beer has a pillow/cloud like looking 2 finger white head to it. The head retention is quite good and there's a good amount of sticky looking lacing on the glass.
The aroma of tasty jalapeno peppers hit my nose when I was pouring the beer. Up close it is a nice green, fresh jalapeno aroma. I do get biscuit notes that filter through the peppers.
The flavor doesn't hit as well as the nose let on. There's a mix of biscuit and jalapeno peppers. It's almost hard to get the peppers in the flavor. They are there, and provide a hint of flavor to the beer. There's a bit of heat from the peppers on the finish.
The body is decent. The heat from the peppers is more like a light kiss than a slap in the face.
This beer is good. The heat isn't over the top, and I think most could enjoy it, even if you don't like heat.
