Copenhagen 9/3 2020. 50 cl bottle from Beerlivery web-shop. Coisbo’s (R.I.P) usual elegant design with the Black label and silver writing. The name of the beer in pink. Slightly too old. Best before november 2019.
Pours unclear dark copper with a big, dense white head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is malty sweet, herbal and with a light bitter twist. Sweet pale malts, light fruitiness with currants and elderberry. Citrus. Dusty hops.
Medium carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a stronger, herbal bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a little rough. Lingers for a while. Dry finish.
A bit rough around the edges - but with a decent bitter kick.
