On tap at the brewery - pours a hazed burnished copper color with a weak cap (for a Wheat Beer) quick goes to a surface lace. Aroma is malty, bit like raisin bread, light fusel tones, some grassiness. Flavour is much like a regular dunkel, toasty, malty then any crisp biscuity dryness that may have been there from the wheat is flooded out by bitter hopping (not bitter in a good way) - clean finish but increasingly bitter for the style and has a bitter metallic after taste - someone here likes to boil hops too long....not enough wheat character. Needs work.
