Pours a translucent, dark tannic brown. Has a 1/2" light tan head, with a slight ring of lacing left behind.

Aroma is peat, earth, and charred wood.

Taste is [whoa!] peat/[charred] fresh cork/ smoky malt, with a slight, pleasant bitterness on the finish . Light, slightly oily feel, and light, fine carbonation, that dances on the tip of the tongue.

Overall, this is a winner. Takes a few sips to get used to it, but after that it goes down (way too;) ) easy. Could drink this , in quantity, on a regular basis. Don't know the abv - they don't list it- but what ever it is, is not apparent in the least. Could be dangerous. (in a good way)
