Finally trying this. Bought it several times, but gave them away. This is a 2018 bottle, obtained on the brewery's last day.
Refrigerated since then, & let sit out for ~30 minutes, before opening.
Opaque almost-black, with paper-thin layer of head.
Aroma is the usual porter aromas of cola, charred wood, wet earth, slight roasted nuts, and a sweet mapley aroma when swirled.
Taste is coffee, maple and nuts.
Feel is medium, with light carbonation. Might have lost a little carbonation in eight years since it was bottled.
Nice porter. The maple is a good addition, without being overly sweet.
