A: Pours a very slightly hazy medium golden amber in color with light to moderate amounts of visible carbonation and moderate pale golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a half finger tall sudsy beige head that reduces to a large patch of very thin film covering a little more than 50% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of sweet light fruits (apple, pear, and white grape) along with moderate aromas of pale, toasted, and wheat malts. Just shy of moderate aromas of toasted oak, vanilla, and bourbon.
T: Upfront there is a slightly stronger than moderate flavor of pale, toasted, and wheat malts with a moderate amount of light fruit (apple, pear, and white grape) sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of toasted oak, vanilla, and bourbon. Light amounts of lingering sweetness in the finish.
M: Medium to full bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth with light alcohol warming in the finish.
O: Enjoyable with a fairly strong bourbon presence over an enjoyable base wheatwine. Intense but good for sharing.

A: The beer is very hazy dark yellow in color and has some hints of amber hues. It poured with a collar of off-white bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of bourbon from the barrel aging are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is mostly dominated by flavors of bourbon and associated notes of vanilla and toasted oak. No alcohol is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. The bourbon lends some booziness and warmth to the finish.
O: Considering its strength, this beer isn't as heavy as you would expect given the use of the wheat. It's a nice selection if you want to have a beer with a nice amount of aromas and flavors of bourbon barrels but don't want something that's heavy on the palate. It is rather drinkable.
