SRM 3, pale golden yellow. A three-inch head quickly drops to one inch, then holds for a long time. The head has a faint greenish yellow white color and is quite fine. A coating of lace gives way to webbing. The beer is almost perfectly clear, with lazy columns of tiny carbonation.

The aroma is fresh, with floral hops and lemongrass. Sweet taffy follows. This is very pleasant and refreshingly simple. In a word… delicate.

The flavor is sweet and crisp, with an equal portion of bitterness. Again, delicate. Light pine straw leads to fine lemon zest. The finish is long and moderate, trending towards the malt and caramel, with late bitterness being light. Warmth brings out lemongrass and amplifies the sweetness.

A medium body and almost no texture. Alcohol is about as expected, perhaps a tad lower than 6%. Carbonation is light.

This beer is super refreshing and will be outstanding during a hazy, hot, and humid summer afternoon. I, however, enjoyed it on a cool Spring afternoon. By the way, with the second pour I added the sediment, which, aside from appearance, made no noticeable impact.

From a growler filled yesterday. Posted as 4.5% abv, at the brewery. (Batch variation?)

Translucent gold with 1/2 finger of quickly-dissipating white head, that leaves some spotty lacing.

Smell is a light fruity aroma, with hints of sweet toasty grain and pine.

Taste is more-or-less the same as aroma, but of greater intensity. Moderate bitterness.

Feel is light and smooth, with moderate , very fine carbonation tingle.

Overall, though nothing "wow!" about it, enjoyable and easy-drinking. Seems as though it would be a good companion for just about any meal.
