First time having beer from this brewery, 2nd year this brewery has made their TrainBridge Russian Imperial Stout, but first year it's been barrel aged. Very good RIS with slight bourbon barrel presence (only aged 3 months I was told in Heaven Hills barrels - IMO needs more time in the barrel 6-12 months would be my recommendation). Nice color and thickness, little bit dry on the finish, but overall for a new brewery and only 2nd year making their RIS good start.
