Weizen with a slight amount of American oak wood chips and smoked malt.
When poured into a glass, the phenolic aroma of bananas and cloves rises with a soft cloudiness typical of Weizen. The scent of vanilla and toasted coconut derived from American oak overlaps slightly, creating a deep aroma. Along with the gentle sweetness of wheat, the faint smokiness and delicate tannins from the chips tighten the taste. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. Like the standard Weizen, it is a Weizen that retains a light dry feeling while feeling the depth of oak.
