This is an excellent Upstate NY brewery! I have tried multiple of their offerings, but today I will be reviewing their Amber Ale!
L: Pours a deep, clear clear copper with a fluffy, off-white, 2 finger head. It dissipates into a 1/4 finger cap. Delicate, yet sparing lacing forms on the glass.
S: Smells of toffee, butterscotch, roasted nuts, freshly baked dark bread and mild floral hops. The sweetness isn't too overbearing either. This is incredibly pleasing to the nose.
T: The flavors follow the nose, but are very well balanced. The bitter spiciness from the hops help to balance the sweet notes and combine into a bittersweet symphony. The dark bread and roasted nuts really shine through as well to make this quite the experience. This tastes excellent!
F: Pretty smooth, medium bodied Ale with moderate carbonation.
O: This beer is absolutely wonderful. If you ever find yourself in upstate NY and are in the mood for an Amber Ale, this one is sure to please!
