Bright clear, light golden color, nice lace. Spicy/dank aroma. Sharp strong forward, a bit too hoppy for a Czech pils, but will fit the bohemian description. Dry follow. In my opinion, the hop bill seems a bit overdone. Hops are overwhelming the malt.

Fair warning; articulating the finer points of the taste of beers is not my strong suit. I just know what I like. With that said, Foothills Pils is one of the year-round staples of the Wolf Hollow Brewery (Glenville, New York) line-up of beers. I'm not a fan of IPAs or heavier beers, so I am inclined to lean towards lagers, ales and pilsners. Foothills Pils is my favorite of the Wolf Hollow beers, sporting a pleasant aroma, and a full-bodied, crisp taste, with a hint of tangy hops, but not so hoppy as to confuse it with even a "light" hops-tasting IPA. I could - and pretty much have! - drink these all day.
