330ml Bottle at Halloumi restaurant, Glasgow:
A light golden but not overly cloudy beer for the style, the head was a little disappointing for a hefeweizen though with it sitting only a centimetre tall & fading quite quickly. The nose was a sweet one with some banana & bubblegum showing, I got some herbs & cloves with a hint of coriander too. The taste is similar with a lot banana & some nice fizz alongside hints of bubblegum but it’s not quite as strong as with the nose. The body is well carbonated & lively with a light bodied & fairly smooth mouthfeel; it’s nothing special but I’m glad I’ve managed to try it now.

Out of all the Volkan line, this one ended up the best for me. Citrusy with some aspect of a minty finish. I thought I was tasting a bit of bergamot and tea with the beer. A really good combination

330 ml bottle in Santorini. BB date 4-2016.
Hazy golden body with a decent head. Medium-high carbonation. Fruity aroma and taste. Some tartness and wheat in the flavor.
O: refreshing; unusual style for Greece.
