We took our classic dry hopped American Wheat Ale, Jungle Boogie and added a fruity twist to it with the addition of Mango. The sweet, flavorful malts and wheat provide balance for the Mosaic hops and mango flavors.

Beach 374 tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 500 ML bottle on July 19, 2017. Look is very appealing. Smell and taste is a nice blend of mango, tea and fruity hops. Feel is medium in body.

Breaming with exotic tropical flavor, the overlay of mango is placed gently atop the famed mosaic pale ale with robust rooibos tea. Marz continues to run the gamut of fruit and hops.
Mango Jungle Boogie pours the the typical burnt orange, hazy gaze as the original. But its scent is radiant with tropical fruit while impressions of papaya, pineapple, apricot and peach join the mango additions for an herbal and fruity perfume. Its taste is smooth with the caramelized nuttiness of granola and patiently awaits the fruit filled centerpiece to come.
With the dry malt flavor coming quickly, its the succulent fruit flavor that coats the palate with both fruit and hops. The berry-like tendency of Mosaic hops trends tropical itself with passionfruit and kiwi and the mango additions simply apply a depth of tropical complexity to transport the senses to the beach. Bold and radiant fruit flavors are equally intense on the palate as it was on the nose before the ale dives into the taste of sun tea, herbal bitterness and a dry graham cracker maltiness.
Medium-bodied and creamy, the beer's fruitiness has the senses thinking that the beer is fuller than is actual. But its dry malt flavor is propped up by exotic rooibos tea and balanced with the spice and herb bite of hops. Crisp, clean and refreshing to its core, the beer trails with the tethers of mango and tea.

Pours an extremely murky dark, deep orange color with a two finger tan head that went away quickly.
Aroma is mostly dominated by the ripened, fleshy mango. Also get some blueberry, juicy peach (almost like peach rings), and orange. A small blanket of herbaceous dankness is there as well. The malt just simply offers a sugary sweetness.
Taste follows with a big presence of mango flesh. There's undercurrents of blueberry, orange, peach, and dank from the tea and hops. Very juicy and fruity to begin, but the finish is surprisingly a little dry and brings with it some pine resin and herbaceous dank bitterness to go with underlying juicy mango.
Medium body and slightly creamy, but is quite under carbonated. Still quite a refreshing beer, but would be much more refreshing with more carbonation to move the beer along the palate.
This is an interesting take on an already great American wheat; however, I feel the mango along with the already added rooibos tea overtake the Mosaic hop quality of the beer and kind of muddle the flavors. Still enjoyable, but not as good as anticipated.

More pulpy than the peach and the pineapple which was a distraction. Pineapple was king.
