Released late September 2018; drank 11/10/18 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy orange rust appearance.
A violent pour yielded a HUGE khaki head (careful pouring!); frothy lace.
Pineapple, table sugar & faint baking soda notes in the nose.
Medium thick mouthfeel. Corn & macro lager flavors; where's the citrus from the nose?
An unexpectedly awful DIPA.

I haven't had too many NE style IPAs but this is really good.
The appearance is a hazy yellow-orange with a nice white head that lingered well.
The aroma is straight fruit salad with pineapple, mango, citrus and peach.
The taste follows the nose with a big juicy hit of tropical fruit up front. Also the citrus comes through.
The palate is medium with a clean finish that makes it almost dangerously drinkable.
Overall this is a really good and juicy dipa from marz that makes me want to try more NE IPAS.

Initially pours a slightly opaque orange color. Thick frothy white head dissipates steadily leaving a nice layer of sticky lacing and a thin layer of white foam. Second pours is much hazier and completely opaque. A bit darker of an orange color. Clearly the yeast and sediment came through in the second pour. Might need to roll this one before pouring.
Smell is rather sweet - peach, mango, banana, honey and fruit punch.
Taste follows the nose with notes of peach, mango, fruit punch, hints of citrus, banana, and honey. No hop bitterness, very smooth flavors, definitely on the sweet side. Very juicy in a juicy fruit juice way.
Feel is smooth, medium to full bodied. A tad syrupy, but not distractingly so. Mild carbonation. No bitterness on the finish.
Overall this is a nice DIPA from marz. It tastes quite good, but its just not worth the price tag. Also, if you don't like very sweet DIPAs you probably won't like this one.

Pours a turbid, muddy orange color with two finger of dense, off-white head.
Aroma pops with lots of bright, overly-ripe fruits. Pineapple, mango, guava, banana, tangerine, and peach are all there. The yeast strain adds a juicy, slight bubblegum quality, along with the aforementioned banana. Sugary, almost candied sweetness is there to accentuate the juiciness.
Taste is like a fruit salad. Really no "green" hop qualities to this one, just all fruit. Peach, nectarine, clementine, banana, guava, pineapple, and mango all come to mind. A sugary, slightly candied sweetness and a faint breadiness is there to round it all out. Just a touch of orange peel bitterness, but because it isn't fully dry on the finish, the sweet fruits overcome that, leaving really no bitterness at all.
High medium body. Smooth, creamy, and soft. Finishes sticky and slightly oily.
This is a well done NE style DIPA coming from Marz. I love their regular Splash, but this took it up a notch. So much juiciness coming from both the hops and the interesting yeast strain they use with very little bitterness. If Chicagoans are looking for a juice bomb, look no further than this one.
