One of the best ipas that include wine juice that I’ve ever had. Remind me of some of Trilliums.

12oz can, no apparent freshness date. Thanks to my friend, Ken, for giving me a can to try. Hazy pale yellow body with hues of light orange; frothy off-white head eventually fades to a foam. Juicy tropical hop aroma: orange, grapefruit, white grape, passion fruit, pineapple. Equally juicy hop flavors with notes of pineapple, passion fruit, grapefruit, white grape/white wine. Creamy and full body, modest bitterness, dry finish. I was skeptical about the wine juice addition, but it works well with this one. This was well worth the try.

Thanks to the kind soul who sent me this 12 oz. can but, after half a bomber of El Cat high-octane-shit, I’m too lazy to walk upstairs & figure out who exactly that was. All hail alcohol!

The pour is orangey hazy with some floaties that don’t match the décor: they’re brown. Smells like white grape juice. I like white grape juice. Even with tiny little grape pits in it.

Holihaze lends a lovely twist to the NE IPA fad. The white wine mixes nicely with the IPA, which is moderately bitter, with a little citrus, flatland grass, less than ripe hoppiness, with an odd, unidentifiable to science fruitiness that I don’t recall encountering b4. Dead grandma dry. Not tough to drink.

A lovely take on an onrushing fad that seems to have swept about 84% of the breweries in the country; the wine juice was a stroke of genius. Very good beer that borders on excellent.

Pours a super hazy cloudy matte yellow color. Tons of chunky floaters in this beer - looks like hop debris. Nice thick frothy white head.

Aroma has notes of orange, grapefruit, white grape, wine and some grassy notes.

Taste follows the nose with notes of orange, grapefruit, white wine, some grape notes and a bit of alcohol on the back end. Just a hint of grassy bitterness on the finish.

Feel is somewhat full bodied. Bit of a hot alcohol note on the finish. Mild carbonation.

Overall a nice IPA - its not as well rounded as some other examples of this NE style with grape juice added beer.

A buddy brought this back from the midwest. Yup, hazy and juicy. The wine juice blends seamlessly with the hops with a bright floral punch with peach and apricot over a smooth creamy body. I suppose it's a bit winelike. Cool beer, check it out if you can.

Canned 12/13/17; drank 1/7/18 @ the Yarchives.

Opaque orange/yellow appearance.

A violent pour yielded a huge bright white head; strong, frothy lace.

White grape, grapefruit & dry grass notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Watermelon jolly rancher, tangy white grape & very dry grass flavors.

A bit cloying & the dryness borders on bitter; these guys keep shitting out NE IPA's & most aren't very good. I've had my last.
