Very juicy New England ipa - nice glowing murky body. I get the tropical notes, but overall get a sort of pear quality. Very unique. My major gripe is I wish there was more of a bite - either from earlier cooked hops or from a dryer yeast strain

I felt like Marz originally got off to a promising, but somewhat shaky start, with some inconsistent releases that I wasn't a fan of. As such, I have kind of ignored them for at least the last year. Eventually, I started hearing some buzz around their NEIPAs, leading me to try out THE YUICE. And THE YUICE is good. Pineapple, marshmallow fluff, tart green mango, and grapefruit. One of the first times I've purchased an undated, canned NEIPA from a retail shop, rather than the brewery itself, and not been disappointed. That's a plus!

Pours a Golden orange color, slightly opaque with a thick white head. Lots of lacing.
The Nose has some Nice floral notes, tropical fruit, and also some light earthy hops.
Taste follows the nose. The hop flavor definitely comes through more at the finish as the beer warms in the glass.
On the lighter side for carbonation. Medium soft body

Canned 4/11/18; drank 4/17/18 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy bright orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a HUGE off-white head; strong, frothy lace.
Peach, mango & mild fruit punch notes in the nose.
Soft, medium mouthfeel.
Peach, mango & mild fruit punch flavors; faint dry grass notes on the finish.
A lush, fruity dream of a NE IPA. Their best effort yet. Bravo!

12oz can. "the yuice" stamped on the label, canned on 4.11.18, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass.
The beer pours a cloudy golden straw color with a foamy white head, two fingers tall that has good retention and yields lots of soapy lace. The aroma is great, tons of sticky and dank mosaic hops, tropical and fruity with plenty of earthy pine and grassiness, lightly floral with crusty pale grain. The flavors are excellent, super juicy and pungent, pineapple and mango with dank grassy hops, floral and bright with an awesome earthy resinous character with just a soft kiss of cereal grains. The mouthfeel is great, coating medium body, creamy texture with a light bite at the finish.
Verdict: An excellent IPA from Marz Brewing. Tons of juicy and tropical flavors, super bright and excellent balance and it doesn't fall into the trap of being overly sweet and yeasty. Top notch stuff.

Tasted in a snifter from draft at the Craft Beer Store on January 26, 2018. Draft only Northeast style IPA. Look is hazy golden orange with a thin head and lingering lacing. Sweet juicy hop flavors with just the right amount of bitterness.
