Aroma is tropical fruit/pineapple, floral and medium sweetness. The flavor is pineapple/tropical fruit, malts/mild wheat, citrus and a hoppy/bitter/slightly floral finish.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 1 pint 0.9 fl oz bottle on July 1, 2018. A Marz and Paul McGee collab, Piranhanas is fermented at high temps with a yeast blend that produces an array of tropical fruit flavors and dries out the beer, emphasizing the fermentation and hop flavors.

I'm a tiki-phile and sadly have yet to visit the Lost Lake tiki bar in Chicago. Someday. I was shocked to see that my local package store in Atlanta even carried this beer. As for the beer itself, it's a solid IPA. It's juicy which is the latest IPA trend, but you do actually taste the pineapple without it being overwhelming or too syrupy tasting.
