I got a can of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had dank tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with ripe tropical citrus presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

This one snuck up in me, because from the pour it looked pretty clear for a hazy ipa, and the smell was so sweet with juicyfruit like watermelon, peach and cherry. But the taste was really good, with the fruit not coming across as sweet as the smell, with hops to finish and balance. Better depth in taste too, with some orange and melon. Body is creamy and definitely not watery. Some hop textures too

I was surprised by this beer; it was fantastic. Very thick and "hazy". It smelled sweeter than it was. For 8%, there was not alcohol bite. I agree with the papaya review.

Tasted in a Rastal Teku from a 12 fl oz can on April 2, 2018. Oats and honey in the grain bill provide a sweet and sultry bass-line for the strong hopping of El Dorado, Ekuanot, Mosaic and Amarillo to sing over, serenading your nose and mouth with loads of cantaloupe, melon, lime, papaya and orange.

Canned 3/20/18; drank 4/2/18 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dull orange rust appearance.
A violent pour yielded a huge eggshell head; frothy lace.
Peach, caramel & watermelon notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Peach & mild caramel flavors up front; watermelon & cane sugar notes on the finish. No booze heat.
A bit too sweet overall; this could use less caramel & a mild dryness. Overall, though, a nice brew if you can handle that aspect. Bold.

Not quite as good as the crushed velvet, but def an awesome hazy juicy neipa. I'd get more if it wasn't so $$$, but def enjoyable.
