Poured into its namesake mini-chalice. Dark, dark amber with red and orange highlights. Fizzy initial finger and a half head replaced by a tight creamy, latte colored layer that laced nicely constantly supplied by the released carbonation.
Not a lot of aromas - slight berry, slight funk maybe a little balsamic.
Tastes are all over the place in a great way. The expected tartness and berries but surprisingly buoyed by a solid malt backbone. Nicely balanced.
Very smooth, full feel. A bit viscous and coating .
Typically Marz is a little out there for me but this is well done.
