I was interested to try this because it has Mackinac hops from Landlocked Hops in Loda, IL. Not everyday you get to try new hops from an Illinois grower. Shout out to Marz for sourcing Illinois-grown hops.
Saturated orange, opaquely hazy, ample creamy foam that leaves behind sheets of lacing. Lasting veil on the surface.
Pulpy tropical fruit, papaya and mango, cantaloupe.
Creamy texture with ample hop bitterness, faint sweetness in the middle. Papaya, canteloupe, dandelion greens. Finish is dry and resiny. Overall it’s pretty smooth and flavorful, has a lot more going on than most fresh hop beers in the midwest.

Pours a dark wheat, 90% opaque, one finger if head with nice lacing. Smell is ripe melon and some tropical fruits. Not as creamy as typical neipas, but a good feel, and great lingering bitterness. This is q good compromise neipa if you miss the west coast hop bitterness but also love the fruity aspects.
