Spratwaffler - a colloquialism from the North end of Deal in Kent, where Time & Tide founders Sam and Paul grew up. A pale beer with a touch of character malt lending body to compliment the high hop content. The hops used give the beer a pleasant aroma of a tropical fruit salad with a twist of lemon, passionfruit and grapefruit.

CAN
Crusty white carpet over hazy platinum. 4
Lemon zest and flower nectar. 4
Butter biscuit, then grapefruit peel, slight dried mango, and some grass. 3.75
Grainy end with bitter hum.
Light, round, soft. 3.75
Cascade, Citra
Funny to drink this right after Gipsy Hill Ranger - by going with a simpler hop bill + a fuller malt profile, it ends up mushy and dull rather than brighter and more direct. It does claim to be a pale ale, not a session IPA, but at 3.7%, I’m not sure how that’s supposed to work. Pleasant enough golden ale with a hit of citrus (Cascade more than Citra), but others do more with the same ingredients. 3.75
