Sampled on tap at the brewery on October 13, 2018. October 2018 batch.

Deep dark brown pour with a tan or mocha colored foamy head that lingers and laces.

Vibrant coffee and roasted dark malt aroma with a rather bold floral hop note.

Medium mouthfeel.

The taste is sweet and roasty and the coffee is noticeable without being overbearing. Slightly lingering finish.

Tap at Cask and Vine
Barely brown color with and off white head with decent retention. Big coffee notes with a pleasant supporting light roast and caramel backbone. Nice brew, great coffee that's not overpowering, but could use a hint more chocolate maltiness imho.

Poured from a 22 oz bomber.

Pours a dark, cola-brown color with a large bubbly tan head. Leaves some nice cobweb lacing around the top of the glass.

A lot of roasted coffee on the nose. I get notes of hazelnut and milk chocolate as well.

The taste follows the nose with a strong, nutty, roasted coffee flavor. The hop character is present but subdued. Has more of a resemblance to a brown ale than a porter, to be honest.

The mouth is light to medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation. Alcohol is very well hidden.

Overall, a good beer with not a whole lot going on. As I said, it drinks (and looks) more like a brown ale than a porter but it's still well done.
