Appearance: Pours a root beer brown cloudy body with a light tan head and considerable lacing
Smell: Not very distinct, but a bit bready with hoppy undertones
Taste: Tastes like a nut brown or a dunkel at first, but then you get hit by the bitter hops; interestingly, the finish is hoppy and bitter but matched by a touch of sweetness on the tip of the tongue
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation
Drinkability: Unusual but noteworthy; a quality brew

A draft pour yields a deep reddish brown brew wearing an impressive head of dense, creamy beige foam. Head retains quite well and lacing is as thick as it comes.
Aroma presents a nice balance of sweet caramel malts and pine and floral hops.
Flavor is rich and relatively complex, offering caramel, brown sugar, and bready malts which are quickly washed out by a massive rush of numbing floral and piney hops.
Body is mediumish with a chunky, chewy texture. It ends with a long, hoppy finish. One of the only acceptable beers from CB&B.
