Poured from a growler into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a fine, two finger white head with great retention and slippery lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus and lightly dank hops, lemon, grapefruit and mild catty dankness. Flavor is citrus and piney hops, lemon, yuzu, grapefruit and pine developing into the finish. Grapefruit and pine finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A quite lemon forward IPA, probably using one of the new lemony hops, but there is some Citra in there too for other citrus flavors and some piney hops. Somewhat one note hop profile, but refreshing and enjoyable. I like the malt, which isn't quite a dry as is popular now with IPAs. Not exciting, but solid.
