In our search for balance, we began to explore the creation of a beer which would celebrate the flavors and aromatics of South Pacific tropical fruits without the bitterness of many West Coast IPAs. The Juiced Lychee IPA showcases the same tropical profile which provides acidity for salsas which cut through rich dishes like al pastor tacos and fried shrimp. Enjoy this IPA on the beach -- or around your closest friends thinking about the beach -- while celebrating with all of the tacos and seafood that you can hold in one hand.

Poured from a bottle. Copper to Amber in color with an overly foamy head. Smells of tropical fruit with hints of earthiness. Flavors are very bright and fruit forward. Good summer beer, refreshing and easy drinking

Slightly hazy amber color with a respectable and lasting off white head. The aroma is citrus and lychee.
The taste is grapefruit, tangerine and lychee fruit, slightly tart. The finish is dry with some lingering citrus zest, mild bitterness.
The body is medium, good carbonation level, fairly smooth and very drinkable.
Altogether, this is a tasty and refreshing brew, should go well with salads and lighter fare but also with spicy items, very nice as a summer cooler, very well done

Solid golden color with a thick head with good retention.
Unusual aroma with notes of rose petals, faint red fruits and hidden lychees.
Strong flavor with notes of grapefruit, Early Grey tea bags, non-sweet lychees and coriander. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Light towards medium body with appropriate carbonation.
This American IPA felt to me as a white tea with lychees. Original and unexpected flavor.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Pours orange red with a fluffy white head. Smells of citrus and tropical hops. Tastes of tropical fruit with citrus notes with just the right combination. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Chill haze sunset yellow/orange with large two finger white head. Nose actually has that lychee fruit flesh, with some citrus in the back. Taste opens with an sharp orange marmalade, that then quickly transitions into a flash of lychee but is quickly overtaken by bitter citrus rind. Body is light to medium with medium carbonation. Ends dry with a perfume of citrus oil. Overall, it's fine. Not sure how fresh this bottle is, maybe that makes a difference, but nothing special
