I was pleasantly surprised by this. Solid color. Solid white head. Carbonation was good. I actually get a taste of some light tropical fruit almost like a mango. Consumed at my friend's farm in South Africa.

The bottom line is that this is another insipid lager from South Africa. It has a weird bitterness on the palate that makes it even less desirable than most insipid lagers. Still probably a notch above Windhoek and Taffel.

Not my style, but as far as lagers go, this is very good.

clean bright yellow whispy head. nice tight cereal grains on the nose. Like lucky charms without the marshmallows. Tasty. Clean. Not as bitter as is like but to style. Well done, all things considered.
