Crowler filled 9/28/20; drank 9/30/20 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dark brown/orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice khaki head; decent lace.
Caramel, oak, leather & bourbon heat notes in the nose.
Thick, creamy mouthfeel.
Fig, leather & caramel flavors, dry raisin, oak & mild bourbon notes on the finish.
Quite delicious; not quite VSOJ level alchemy, but way better than I expected. I'd have another!!
