On tap at the brewery. Served in a half-pint glass. Described as a "reddish ale with darker tones and in the style of a German saison." I don't know what the hell a German saison is, but whatever.

Appearance - Deep reddish brown body. Big white head. Nice lacing and great retention.

Smell - Loaded with esters. Very yeasty. Sweet caramel and lightly musty. Definitely getting the saison thing, though.

Taste - Grainy with some caramel malt, but doesn't taste sweet. Musty and a little fruity. Some toasty malts before it finishes with fruity and yeasty flavors.

Mouthfeel - Light. Easy drinking. Well carbonated.

Overall - It's kinda bland, but I find no fault and it was the most interesting beer they served.
