Long lasting, but small, head. Thick streaks of lace on the glass. Copper-amber color. Clear.
Toasty, autumnal aromas initially. Quite dry. No notable hop which fits the style.
The taste is sweeter with a more caramel touch to the darker malt notes (medium toast and freshly fallen leaves). Again, no hop which creates a “round” aftertaste which is closer to swallowed milk than a beer. Full bodied; moderate carbonation. Overall, a reasonable facsimile to a Marzen.
