Cloudy, lemon-gold color. Modest head for the style with surprisingly little lace given the amount of wheat in the beer.
Strong wheat smell. There’s the lightest of spice—not quite clove, but close.
Well carbonated, but the body holds up nicely. The wheat remains the strongest element, but the spice, which reminds me of coriander, white pepper, and all spice, is more potent. The aftertaste has a pronounced bitter bite which finishes the beer with black pepper.
This may be the best beer of the flight I had here.
