Pours an almost opaque orange-brown with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Thin streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, banana, caramel, earth, and spice aromas. Taste is much the same with burnt toast, banana, caramel, and earth flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of toast and earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that has a unique burnt toast flavor that makes the flavor interesting.
