Pours a cloudy dirt straw color with no head to be seen. Maybe this was due to the frozen glass it was served in. The smell was non-existant, which for a so called hefe is really poor. The taste had no hefe or pale wheat characteristics what so ever. This beer kind of reminds me of an unfiltered macro lager. The feel was watery and fizzy, nothing exceptional. Just an aweful hefe/wheat brew. I hate to slam a beer but I found no redeeming qualities to this.

This is a borderline American pale wheat ale, but they call it a hefeweizen so I shall do the same.
Appearance: The pour is a cloudy darker straw with a small head for a wheat beer.
Smell: The nose is weak, but it has some wheat, less esters, and even less phenols.
Taste: This has more of an American character since there is a ton of wheat up front and throughout the beer. Banana and cloves come into the flavor profile in the middle and stick around through the finish.
Mouthfeel: This one is light to medium bodied with lively carbonation.
Drinkability: This is one of the better American-style hefeweizens. There's a lot of refreshing wheat and enough banana and clove to keep it interesting.
