A standard stout with green coffee bean and peppery notes.

Pours a cola black with mocha colored bubbles. Smells of cold brew coffee, roasted chocolate, and intense coffee aromas. Smells very nice. Taste reflects the smell perfectly, an initial coffee bitterness leads into a slight chocolate like flavor finishing with a strong coffee flavor that lingers in the mouth. A slight roasted taste lingers as well. The apparent 8.0% ABV is not found as there are no alcohol taste, scent, or burn. Very nice. The feel is thick and chewy, which compliments the intense flavors. Minimal carbonation reminds me of coffee chocolate milk more than beer. Overall, this is a great coffee forward stout that is tasty and easy to drink. A definite improvement on their very good Midnight Oil stout. If you never told me this was beer I would have assumed it was cold pressed coffee.
