Pours pitch black with mocha colored suds. Smells of peppermint patties, dark chocolate, baked bread, and herbal mint. Taste is superior to the smell, initial peppermint patty tastes that flow into chocolate that finishes with a slight charred/roasted note. Finishes dry. Mouthfeel is extremely thin, almost water like. It isn't off putting but it really doesn't compliment the flavors at all. Overall this is an interesting beer. The peppermint qualities are superior in the taste with the only bad thing being the really thin feel. Id get it again.

A chocolatey stout with prominent peppermint flavor. A nice holiday release.
