Pours a mostly clear honey gold with a finger of head that dissipates to a thin ring with some lacing. A little grass and citrus on the nose. Taste follows nose. Clean, but under carbonated.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Looking at the previous reviews, I must be missing something. Not jazzed about this. Cloudy amber / orange body, small frothy head. Light aroma , fruity, some malts, light hops. Taste goes for the juicy NE style and falls short. Tropical fruit and malt in very subdued amounts. and then fades to nothing, fast. A much different experience from me than the others.

a well made beer, i have been pretty impressed with the overall quality of the beers i have had from these guys so far, but this isnt as interesting as i thought it might be, and its exceedingly bitter. very west coast to me, a little bit old school too with a slightly deeper malt profile and color than has become fashionable in the past few years. at first i thought this was simcoe in here, but then i read it was some southern hemisphere varietals. i get a lot of high alpha bitterness and a green piney sort of bite, not characteristics i associate with hops from australia and new zealand, but new ones are popping up all the time and i certainly dont know everything. i like the balance though with the lightly sweet and toasty grain here, reminds me of something old school like from anchor or even what green flash used to do, and i of course like that. hints of apricot too, some botanicals as well, and finally a gripping bitter finish. medium bodied, very well carbonated, long linger of hops on the tongue. i definitely wanted this to be more different, but overall its very good beer, i cant complain.

12 oz single from Roth's Vista Market in Salem OR $1.67 Crystal clear copper coloured ale with a nice sized creamy off white head. Good spruce/piney hop aromas mainly then some orange peel...some caramel malt on the nose also, Taste the same as the aroma but pretty smoothed out and supremely balanced..though the orange pith shows through. Very nice smooth and thick for the style mouth feel. Nice bee
