Get ready to make your taste buds dance! Tarty to the Party Peach Raspberry Sour Ale is a kettle-soured ale with the addition of peaches and raspberries to give an extra sweetness in the beer. Tart flavors that are prominent in the mouthfeel from the kettle-souring process blend with the peaches and raspberries to add pleasant aroma as well as a fruity taste. Full of flavor from tart to finish, this sour ale is a party you don’t want to miss.

this is the first one in this series i have had in bottled format, their stuff looks a little wonky and cartoony from an aesthetic standpoint, but the beer in the bottle is good. hazy and pink, but with more life on the head and in the carbonation than the plum one did on tap. its got a lot more raspberry than peach to it, both in nose and taste, but the flavors here are nice, both fruits are natural, honest, and mostly fermented to dry. we get some raspberry tang thats sort of off the bush for me, and it resonates well with the lactic souring, which might be just a touch more puckery than some of the others have seemed to be, but not too much that it limits how much and how fast i can drink. its somewhat summery, but also maybe somewhat minimal in on the beer side of things, wheat malt sure, but yeast and hops are almost absent from this, and as much as the fruit tastes good, tart juice doesnt quite make a beer. more peach would be cool, but so would like a saison yeast or a little bit of a finishing hop. i think the quality here is just slightly above average, its the fruit the makes it, and it might not stand up without it, but its a fine summer sour, and a reasonable series overall, bottle better than draft so far...

Pink hued beer with a thin white head that smells and tastes like a watered down/ melted Cherry Slurpee. Refreshing and tasty enough on a hot day. Cheers
