Look: Pours a lightly cloudy burnt orange with a modest white head the ends as a lid and leaves decent lacing behind
Aroma: Navel orange, pine needles, grapefruit, fir needles, some melon, and sweet bready malt
Taste: Opens up with a nice hit of grapefruit before pine and fir come into frame and mix in with the grapefruit. Citrus fruits continue to expand and melon peeks in occasionally until it closes out with conifer notes and a nice bite
Mouthfeel: Full, medium-high carbonation, and lightly dry on the finish
Overall: I dig it. This is a tasty and well-made WCIPA with an old-school feel to it, from the nice malt bill to the pine/citrus combo, and it all comes together nicely. Not game-changing but a solid IPA from a local brewery that I can support and one I enjoyed drinking to boot
