Our latest release in the Lager than Life Series is She Loves the Helles Out of Me Helles Lager. A golden yellow hue is featured, with malt flavors of light toast with a slight sweetness. Earthy and citrus hop flavors are present, while still allowing the malt backbone to be the main attraction. A soft and clean dry finish rounds out this enjoyable lager!
This beer is a collaboration with our friends Toast & Jam to celebrate their album, She Loves the Hell Out of Me!

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Clear golden, foamy white head settles out. Bready aroma, full, rich. Taste is bready malts, mild sweetness, and a light dry finish. Creamy feel.

Look: Nearly clear dark yellow on the pour, which leads to the formation of a lofty white head that slowly settles to a lid and leaves great lacing behind
Aroma: Straw, floral hops, soda crackers, light honey-like notes, and pilsner malt
Taste: Opens up with a light soda cracker note that lingers along with some straw and soon followed by waves of floral hops that include true jasmine, lilac, and honeysuckle. Pilsner malt and floral hops shine and dance for a bit before closing out
Mouthfeel: Light but not watery, clean, medium-high carbonation, and crisp and clean on the finish
Overall: I dig it. This is a solid Helles lager that hits on all of the style’s tasting notes well and is quite refreshing to imbibe. The next lager in this new series, one I wanted to try, and a well-made no-nonsense one at that. It’s going down nicely on this warm evening too
