Nice and dark as a stout should be. Head dissipates quickly. Hints of chocolate on the nose. Taste a bit disappointing as I hoped for a deeper more layered taste but found it did not linger and the finish was a bit rough and unpleasant. I like a complex malty stout and unfortunately this ain't it.

500 ml bottle from local off licence. The Bru brewery is local, 20 miles north of me in Midlands Ireland. Not all stouts are to my taste but I like this. Head did not last. Nice notes of chocolate. Not too bitter. Another good one from Bru.
