Tried in a Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong, surrounded by my in-laws. There's a photo of a line-up of these cans in front of me at the table, because once I opened one, the cans from all around the table started flocking my way since nobody else wanted them. The perils of being a beer reviewer.
Pours a pale metallic gold, steady bead with off-white head, bit fizzy, but sinks to nothing and no real lace left behind. Pretty blah.
Nothing on the nose - grain, slight caramel, pale citrus hop and maybe some sap notes but muted, nothing there. At least it's not chemical and fake, but nothing else to recommend.
Taste starts quite sweet: grainy with pearl barley and some corn. Gets slight citric sourness midway and then some slightly chemical fizziness and bitterness on the back. Bit dour, bit of cloying sweetness lingers on the finish which is a shame. Sub-par and bland.
A bit thick on the feel, nice fizz late but too late, doesn't really cut through.
Bland Asian lager is bland. Insert bored comment here.

Appearance: Orangey yellow. Clear as day. Low carbonation for the style; creating a decent head is a hopeless struggle.
Smell: Sweet corn, apple juice, honey. Weak as they come, but not too bad.
Taste: Some beers are hard to describe because they have so much going on. This beer is hard to describe because it has next to nothing going on. Vaguely sweet, kind of juicy. Dry edge. Mildly acidic, especially in the finish. This beer is reaching new horizons in non-flavor.
Mouthfeel: On the flat side and way too heavy for the taste. Soft, light carbonation. Lies dead on the palate.
Drinkability: Life's too short to drink beer like this. Too heavy to be refreshing, too weak to get you drunk efficiently, and way too flavorless to drink for any other reason. What a pointless beer.
