Frank’s Lager is a German Style Helles – A light but more complex pale lager that’s cared for over time. Produced with German pilsner malt, floral Saaz hops, our house lager yeast, undergoing extended cold maturation – this bready and soft lager ties together the grace and clarity.

Pours clear, gold in color with one inch head. Taste is cereal, wheat, and a touch of pilsner malt. Light bodied with moderate carbonation and sweet. Makes for a solid lager. Could do or pass.

The beer was cloudy and golden with a head that dissipated very quickly. Also looked obviously carbonated. It smelled like a light pilsner. It tasted good with a light floral orange taste. The feel was carbonated and smooth. Overall, a pretty ordinary beer.

Decent lager....their take on Harp, perhaps? That's what I'm thinking but it's been a while since I've had a Harp. Straw-colored, relatively thin and crisp. It would probably make a decent summer beer. I wouldn't turn it down if someone offered it to me but I wouldn't seek it out, either.
