Copenhagen 4/8 2018. 50 cl bottle from Lidl. Hand pulling on a Moustache on the green label.
Pours hazy orange with a medium-sized head. Settles as a thin creamy layer crawling up the side of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fruity and medium intense. Peach, honey melon, oranges. Touch of caramel. In the end the sour citric notes takes over.
Light carbonation. Soft, slightly thick texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is noteable bitter. Finish is dry.
For a beer produced for a supermarket is this very good. IPA with decent malty backbone and a bitter bite.

Bottle 0.5L.
Hazy dark golden body with a small, frothy, white head, mostly diminishing with some lacing, though; low density of large bubbles.
Moderate hoppy (flowers, citrus) and light malty (cereal, light caramel) aroma with fruity notes (pineapple).
Moderate bitter and light-to-moderate sweet flavour; average-lasting bitterish finish.
Light-to-medium body with watery-to-oily texture; soft carbonation.

Trying this beer first time. Picked up at its godfathersstore, The Lidl. 500ml bottle at 6%abv.
Poured at around 6 degrees celclius in a tulpi glass.
Opens with some smoke, small buble, avarega carbonation, 2 finger white head, medium retention, hazey pale golden
Smell, citrus, passion fruits and some soapiness, almost like bleach.
Let us hope this is not too sweet and fruity.
Taste: strange, It is a bit salty, like a mineral water high on minerals, bit tanginess, hardly any sweetness, where is the hoppy after taste.
Is this an IPA?
It advertises itself on a scale to 5 as 2 sweet and 5 bitter. Label boste choice hop. BUt I guess there is not too much in it.
Mouthfeel is not unpleassant. Not too square.
But alcohol kicks in, it seems to be like a lightly and fast brewed IPA that was infused with extra alcohol before bottling.
I have to review this one maybe another day. I had some River Rye and Brew Dog Ipa's before this one. So my tastebuds might have missed something here.
But for now, not impressed and a bit lower than average scores.

Lidl’s Crafty craft craftsbeer. Even the name sounds like someone is trying too hard, but the label on the bottle screams it. Anyway, here we go.
Top: forms an 1.5” white head, retention is not exceptional, but slightly better than average into full lacing.
Colour: flat out lager look with the head, clear straw. This could be anything.
Smell: it’s quite weak on the nose, there are malts to stay and some slight hints of fruits, namely maybe tangerine and peach.
Taste: maltiness comes first than some medium bitterness arrives, some grapefruit tones. Some boozy undertones which is a bit strange as this beer is 6% ABV. Very little aromatic hops, just enough bittering ones. Medium- carbonation, medium body. Complete lack of character.
Summary: not exactly bad, but far from great. Feels like Heineken or some other mass producer’s try to conquer craft territory. Its biggest problem is the uniformed lager look with the completely forgettable taste. And if it’d be dirt cheap, then it’d be okay for one. But it isn’t... ‘Nuff said.

Nice orangy color. A bit flat for an IPA, not hoppy enough. Takes a while to do anything in your mouth. It drinks too easily. Too little of anything really, yet quite nice. Too nice. Lacking bite/punch. Invites you to drink too much of the stuff, half a litre was more than I should have done, I should have capped it after drinking half of it, saving the rest for later.
So would I buy this again? Absolutely!

A: Amber, hazy, decent sized head, good retention, left lot's of lacing.
S: Orange, mandarin.
T: Orange, apricot, boozy burn kicked in at the end.
M: Thick texture, low carbonation.
O: An Irish take on a NEIPA, well made, I wound certainty recommend it.

From Lidl. In Teku glass. Watching Narcos 2x09. Grapefruit with some grass notes and a noticeable bitterness. Not mind blowing but decent enough to drink without disgust and even some enjoyment
