African Pale Ale (#7)

I bought a bottle of Standeaven's Africa Pale ale and unfortunately it was over primed and basically exploded out of the bottle when I opened it. So with that said I'm giving is 3's across the board because I do not want to be critical especially during a craft brew revolution that is happening in SA. The beer a cloudy caramel color with huge head that eventually dissipated and left a residue on the side of the glass. The scent and taste were greatly affected by the over prime nature of this beer....but it seemed to have a nice malt backbone....good potential. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with big carbonation. Overall I would like to try this beer from the tap.
