Great spacious place

 

I live nearby so I'm a bit bias. But this is truly a hidden gem.

i very much liked this place, but there beer was only okay. the fools gold ipa was awesome, but the others were pretty lackluster. i thought the gose was also really nice, but the saison was not real nice. huge huge space, ten barrel system hidden from the taproom, and canning is starting very soon. i expect to see them in liquor stores and in the bars before too long, but hopefully they dial it in a bit. they had maybe ten on tap, and the vibe of the pace was neat. bunch of ping pong tables in the back, everyone relaxing, good spot. server was maybe less beer informed than in other places, but she was mighty friendly and was happy to share all the samples i was interested in. it was also priced quite fairly, and some of the beers were pretty basic, probably reflecting the maturity of the beer community in the neighborhood. if they can grow with their clientele, this should be a successful operation. food truck outside, nice patio, overall a place worth stopping into when you are in town, just know some of the beers are better than others.

 

My overall impression after several visits is that I would rather visit any other brewery in the area - very underwhelming. If you are going to brew beer in Colorado, you had better have one or two that are world-class to keep people coming back. They don't. Perhaps if the beer were more memorable, they wouldn't have to have so many other draws to try to bring people in.

 

Not a terribly memorable brewery. I got their flight of 12 Beers they had on tap, all poured into ounce shot glasses. the most memorable of them was the bourbon barrel aged Imperial Stout as you might expect that one to be. none of their beers tasted bad and I usually AM able to find at least one in a flight. even there Hefeweizen I enjoyed. There was a good family atmosphere, which surprised me. however there was no excitement in the air. The service was substandard - no smiling faces, not a welcoming attitude, potentially the bartender was overworked. I'm a huge fan of IPA's, which they had 3 of. My favorite was the black ipa: not terribly memorable but it was good.

Vibe - I am giving this a mediocre score only because I do not know what the vibe is supposed to be. I get it, everyone would love to come to Wonderland, but sometimes having 1 theme works better.

Quality - Been there twice now and I would much rather go to a few places in town

Service - friendly bar staff, but the place is just crowded often

Selection - even if it isn't top notch, they have a variety!
