Note that this is an American style IPA, not an American imperial stout, as in the description.
L: Slightly cloudy. Typical American IPA colour: mid ale. Thin head, dissolved fairly quickly after pour.
S: Not hugely powerful, but clear. On subsequent sips, it continues to be clear, giving a nice fore-taste.
T: Hops very notable now. Deep, earthy flavour, but balanced with other hops.
F: At the lighter end of carbonation for an IPA, I think. The body balances out the 7% alcohol, and with bold flavour I'd have forgotten it was fairly strong.
