Local Maine beers on tap and approximately 300 bottles/cans in coolers for on site consumption. Fast friendly knowledgeable service, cool music. Patio out back. Plenty of parking. And it’s a gas station too. Have not had the food, but menu looked varied and eclectic.

A pub and gas station in one...and a massive, extremely well-stocked beer cooler with a widely varied selection. They say the place is packed at night and I have no doubts.
Service friendly and attentive. Bare bones setting, so had to down score the vibe thing. Belgian fries were awesome, smoked chicken wings were cheap, juicy, tasty. Edote (a version of Mexican street corn) was very nice. Brisket sandwich was tender, juicy, and nicely flavored. Killer of the day were calm croquettes - literally tasted like deep fried clamp chowder. Fieri would say off the chain.
Cool.joint, great idea, bet it is hopping at night.

-great veggie burger, other entrees (BBQ) were good. Salad portions were 2-3 oz tasters. The taplist was very good (8 choices) but there was no print-out and no server knowledge. The cooler selection was very, very good, but we were outside and that list/ option was not offered. -no carry-out allowed. I'm guessing that some old IPA's will oxidize to the grey.

Highly recommend this great beer spot. Excellent veggie burgers and apps - their Cuban corn is great. Beers on draft focus on New England craft and are designed to pair with great pub food.

Great little funky place in small Maine town. Built in a still operational gas station (hence the name is not as "trendy" as it sounds). Inside there is a large counter, open kitchen, large beer coolers, and picnic tables. Waitstaff service at the tables are attentive, but not overbearing. The beer selection is above average and broad. Many options from around the globe and many great options on tap. The best of Maine brewers offerings end up here.
Food is high quality, locally sourced, and inventive. Upscale pub options. Great fries!

Well, this was an interesting find. Winter weekend away, staying nearby. Had come across this place online while researching for the trip. Gastropub in a gas station? Whatever.
Then it's a cold snowy afternoon in Maine and we're roaming around Bridgton (not a bad little town, btw). There this place is. Somebody's actually pumping gas. Well, it's a cold day in the middle of a brutal Maine winter. What the hell, let's give it a try.
Inside is spartan. Beer cooler lines one wall. Cement floor. Picnic tables. Very open kitchen at the other end. Interesting local beer tap list, plus some from Smutty's. Nice selection in the cooler.
That minimalist micro/nano brewery/tasting room vibe. Without the foosball game.
Bottom line: don't let the look fool you. Food was good. The beer was good. Price of gas wasn't bad either.
Cheers!

I still can't believe this place is located in Bridgton, Maine. A very laid back atmosphere with a small bar, 3-4 picnic tables, and several coolers filled with great locals and other nationally distributed brews. That's without even mentioning the tap list, which is always great. All the Maine heavy hitters like Bissell, Foundation, Austin, Maine Beer Co., Rising Tide, Mast Landing, and Gneiss can be found on draft here. The TV is usually on here playing quirky old TV shows or movies, but most of what you find here is creative, delicious food and great conversation. Get all the different dipping sauces for the French fries...you won't regret it. I've also really enjoyed their brisket deli sandwich and wings.
